Boy visits newborn cousin in a suit: His explanation makes millions laugh

USA - Millions of users are currently celebrating this TikTok video from the USA. In just three days, the clip has received more than 23 million clicks, 5.6 million likes and thousands of comments. The reason for this is the curious appearance of a 13-year-old who is getting to know his newborn cousin in hospital. His explanation as to why he is wearing a suit makes tears of laughter flow.

Gabby (32), the little girl's mother - and therefore the teenager's aunt - explains the situation in the viral hit with a subtitle: "First impressions count", her nephew said.

The TikTok audience also gets to see a broadly grinning boy in sunglasses holding the baby with confidence.

"We're incredibly close and have been since he was born," Gabby said in an interview with Newsweek. "We've always had a very special connection that goes much deeper than the typical aunt-and-nephew relationship," she added.

This close bond led to some unusual arrangements between her and the teenager before Gabby's daughter was born.

He was the first person she told about her pregnancy, the 32-year-old told the US magazine. She was also the first to inform him when she went into labor.

However, he initially completely confused her with the suit. "He had just gotten this suit and was thrilled. He loves fashion. Before he was about to leave for the hospital, he decided it was the perfect opportunity for a hearty laugh," says Gabby.

She continues: "It took me a minute to realize that he was wearing the suit on purpose just to meet her. Once it clicked, I couldn't stop laughing."
