Influencer stabbed by follower on camera!

Tokyo - A 22-year-old Japanese woman was stabbed during a livestream on the street in Tokyo and died a short time later.

The suspected perpetrator was arrested at the scene of the crime, Kyodo news agency reported. Investigators found dozens of stab wounds on the young woman's body, including to her head and neck.

According to media reports, viewers of the livestream watched in horror as the influencer suddenly screamed for help before her smartphone camera went dark and sirens could be heard in the background.

According to initial findings, the 42-year-old perpetrator is said to be a follower of the influencer who had been watching her videos regularly for several years.

Due to the previously announced livestream, he had managed to ambush his victim.

The man claimed that he had lent the woman two million yen (the equivalent of around 12,350 euros) but had never received the money back. The police are currently investigating the accuracy of the information.
