Man kills fiancé and googles beforehand whether he is allowed to do so
USA/Texas - "Can I kill an illegal immigrant?" - That's what a man searched for on Google before murdering his illegal immigrant fiancé and claiming the act as suicide.

Ty Vaughn (31) was arrested last week following the death of his fiancé, Luis Banos Norberto (†27).
As the New York Post reported, Norberto was shot in the face in his apartment in the US state of Texas on January 14.
Vaughn remained at large for two months, as no one suspected that he had killed his own partner.
He initially told the police that the two of them had had an argument the evening before the death, after which Vaughn left the apartment they shared. He returned at around 5.30 the next morning and found Norberto dead in the bedroom.
The 27-year-old's lifeless body was lying in her bed, with a gunshot wound to the head and the gun in his hands. A torn picture of the two of them was found near the crime scene - all signs of a suicide.

However, the police were able to convict Vaughn around two months after the crime when they analyzed the surveillance camera footage.
The 31-year-old was filmed running up the stairs to his apartment at around four in the morning - but he told the officers that he was not at home at the time.
Two neighbors testified that they had heard a gunshot from the apartment shortly afterwards. About twenty minutes later, he wrote a worried alibi message to his already dead friend. In an interview for local media, he also frequently mentioned that Norberto was an illegal immigrant.
When the police finally arrested him and searched his phone, they also found the frightening Google history.
Ty Vaughn is currently in custody awaiting trial.
