Australian snowboarder Luke "The Dingo" Trembath passed away on February 28 at the age of just 38 from as yet unknown causes.

As Page Six reported, the "Emo Girl" singer and the 38-year-old were close friends.

Last Friday, the singer posted an emotional post on Instagram.

"Crazy. Not even when my father died have I cried this much. I've lost a lot of friends, but never a brother," said Kelly.

The sad news comes just a few months after the mother of his future child, Megan Fox, split up with him because she found "suspicious material" on his phone.

Despite the break-up, the 34-year-old is looking forward to the birth of his second child and wants to play an active role in the baby's life as a father.

"He and Megan are still in contact. He loves Megan and wants nothing more than to be a family," a source told the celebrity portal.
