Woman orders cake from the supermarket: when she goes to pick it up, tears suddenly flow
USA - A young woman could hardly believe her eyes when she picked up a personalized cake in a supermarket recently. Shortly afterwards, tears flowed.
The user "toothytok" shared the story on TikTok and still seemed speechless.
A few days ago, she had gone to a Walmart to place an order for a baby shower cake.
Her wishes were simple: the cake was to be sage green with a little glitter dust. The American didn't want any decorations. She just wanted a bag of pearls so that she could add them herself.
So far, so good. To show the saleswoman exactly what color she had in mind, she even gave her a picture of a cake she had found online. After several inquiries as to whether her wishes were really feasible - all of which the employee answered in the affirmative - "toothytok" set off home full of anticipation.
However, when she went to pick up the artwork a few days later, she was shocked.

On site, she did not find a pretty, simple cake with a bag of pearls. Instead, the cake was a bright shade of green, with the pearls placed around the edge of the pastry.
Tears immediately welled up in "toothytok's" eyes. The party was the very next day and the theme was earth tones. There was no way she could show up there with this cake.
After discussing it with the staff on site, who told her that there was nothing they could do about the cake, she was at least able to negotiate not having to pay a cent for this disaster.
As she still couldn't show up at the party with this cake, she drove to a local bakery and asked for a last-minute project. She didn't care what color it was this time - the main thing was to keep it simple.
And lo and behold, the young woman was in luck. Within a few hours, the baker had conjured up a beautiful cake in a soft beige color - and "toothytok" was overjoyed.
